how i work
During my apprenticeship as an Application Developer at wps medienservice AG and Devisual GmbH, I worked across multiple teams contributing to real-world web solutions using Django CMS. From August 2015 to July 2017, I was part of several internal and external projects focused on scalable and maintainable content platforms.
The apprenticeship concluded successfully with the acquisition of the official Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency (Fähigkeitszeugnis). My time there helped shape my confidence, discipline, and approach to solving complex development problems in live production environments.
Core Tasks & Contributions:
- Built and customized websites using Django CMS templates
- Created and maintained Django CMS applications with Python and HTML/CSS
- Wrote test protocols and participated in code reviews
- Worked on project-specific tasks with design, layout, and UX goals in mind
- Actively contributed to team discussions and implemented solutions independently
Projects & Experience:
- Collaborated on several company and client websites now featured in my portfolio gallery
- Gained hands-on experience balancing project deadlines with technical quality
- Built UI components and layout adaptations based on design specs and client feedback
I was recognized as a reliable, adaptable, and independent team member, always willing to take initiative and engage with new ideas. My communication and collaboration skills were key to maintaining a productive work environment.
